Privacy

Private stories should stay private.

This website introduces the app. It does not provide access to the Dada community.

This is a draft privacy notice for the Dada website and app, not the final policy. Legal bases, retention periods, provider safeguards and the full effects of account deletion still need to be verified before publication.

The introduction website

This website does not let you create an account or publish in the community. Its current code does not include a data-collection form or an external analytics tool. Hosting may still generate technical data, such as IP addresses and connection logs. The sample discussions shown here are fictional; real app discussions and profiles are not published on this website for search indexing.

Data used in the app

Visibility, children and photos

Within the app, other signed-in members can see published content and the profile details made visible by your settings. A child’s first name appears on the community profile only if you expressly choose to show it; the child’s birth date is not shown there. Private messages are intended for the conversation participants, and personal spaces are not displayed on this introduction website.

Dada advises against posting photos showing a child: an image online can be copied and shared beyond your control. Images are re-encoded to remove the original metadata and reviewed before publication, but this does not make people unrecognizable or guarantee blurring. Approved photos are now served through a route that requires sign-in; the former static URLs are blocked. This cannot stop an authorized member from copying the image or taking a screenshot, or by itself erase older copies or backups.

Service providers and moderation

The planned operation uses IONOS for hosting and backups, Cloudflare for API routing and protection, and Resend for transactional email. Post and comment text may be sent to OpenAI’s moderation API when this analysis is enabled; text written by a member may itself contain personal information. The current code does not send private messages, memories or photos to that moderation provider. Human review remains possible or necessary depending on the case.

If remote notifications are used in a future installed version, a device token and a generic message pass through Expo and the operating system’s notification services. Optional translation of community content is separate; it does not automatically translate all private messages. Each provider’s role, processing location and contractual safeguards still need confirmation before the final policy is published.

Retention, deletion and rights

In the app, Profile → Settings → My account and security offers account deletion after password confirmation. The flow removes the account and related database records, de-identifies its professional application and removes photo files that are not still referenced by another account. This behavior has been checked with synthetic data. Copies may remain in backups, caches or security records until they expire, so we do not promise immediate, complete erasure. Exact retention periods, including for content, reports, technical logs and backups, still need to be set and published.

You can correct certain information and preferences in the app. To request access, correction, deletion or information about your other rights, email info@wolfcourt.fr. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL). Receipt of an external test email was confirmed on 24 October 2026; this does not guarantee ongoing deliverability.

Draft updated 24 October 2026. Do not use as the final policy or an App Store URL until the issues above are resolved and approved.
